About the Role
As a Senior Full-stack Engineer – (Node.js / React), you’ll take a leading role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems across both backend and frontend. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create seamless, high-performance products used by thousands every day. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment and enjoys taking ownership from concept to production.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain end-to-end product features that drive reliability and scale
- Architect and evolve backend systems and APIs
- Work with product teams to deliver intuitive and accessible user interfaces
- Mentor and guide engineers, contributing to a culture of excellence
- Lead by example through high standards of code quality, testing, and documentation
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and performance challenges
Tech Environment
- Core stack:js, React, React Native, TypeScript
- Frontend tooling: Vite, Storybook
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Data: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, Snowflake
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern React frameworks
- Proven experience designing scalable backend systems and integrating APIs
- A solid grasp of data modelling and performance optimisation (SQL & NoSQL)
- Cloud experience (AWS or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, collaborate, and deliver clean, maintainable code
- A genuine passion for building products that make a tangible difference
